ABC Radio 891 re Wednesday trading

A trader from Adelaide's Central Market says a trial of Wednesday trading should be extended for a further period, and not made permanent yet.
Mark Gleeson says after a year-long trial some traders still remain unconvinced they should have to trade on a Wednesday, and they are worried they could lose money.
He says better marketing is needed for the idea to work.
"I think it's had out-of-date marketing strategies trying to push that day," he said.
"For the first time in years, the traders and the council have got a pretty good line of communication about marketing, and we're hoping to see some pretty new and exciting initiatives with the marketing budget over the next six months.
"So hopefully we might be able to push that Wednesday trading a bit harder, you've got to keep working on your business."
